Adopt A Pet
Every year many pets are left alone and abandoned. Rescue centres work hard to help these animals giving them somewhere to sleep and food. Some of these animals have been badly treated and neglected. Why not during your lifetime adopt one of these animals. Find out where your nearest rescue centre is and have a look. If you have some spare time why not see what you could do to help the centre either in voluntary work or fundraising to help out. Rescue centres can be home to many animals from cats and dogs to rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents. So whatever pet you’re looking, you may be able to help one of these animals to find a loving home…
Walking or canoeing for 4 days or more with camping in between really makes you realise how much you appreciate your warm bed at home. Waiting half an hour for a stove to boil water makes you realise how much quicker your hob, microwave or oven is at home! But also, the thought of getting through those few days when you thought you wouldn’t manage it is also such an achievement! There are also many expeditions abroad that you could join in just a few clicks!
Why not sample foods that you are not used to, you could be surprised what you like and there is so much variety! From Mexican and Chinese to Indian, Spanish and Italian! Most countries also have their own specialities whether it ranges from frogs legs and snails to pigeon, ostrich or kangaroo. When abroad why not ask what specialities they have and try something new!
Dressing up is something you have to do at least once in your life!
